Local storage.
The build planner, saved guide IDs, estimates and actual costs, reminders, story drafts, optional photos, and preview cart are saved in this browser under the key autobros.garage.v1. They are not sent to a server by the application. Build-card links intentionally include selected public fields in the URL fragment; anyone with the full link can read that snapshot. Costs are excluded unless you select them. Photos are included only in an exported HTML file when you confirm permission. Calendar files are downloaded for you to import; no reminder email is sent. Analytics configuration is disabled on the garage, story studio and shared-card routes. Use the export button for a backup or the clear button to remove that local record. Browser storage is not encrypted by this application and is not an account or cross-device sync.
Forms.
The “Join our crew” newsletter form sends your email address, with your consent, to our server, which adds it to MailerLite, the email provider we use. Your email is stored with MailerLite and used only for Autobros emails: build ideas, guides and sticker drops. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops further emails. If signup isn’t switched on yet, the form says so and nothing is saved. There is no working payment form, account registration, or public build-submission endpoint.
External requests.
The site may request typography from Google Fonts. Your browser may send normal network information to that provider. Retailer and reference links take you to external services with their own privacy practices. This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to measure page views and how visitors use the site; Google may set cookies for this purpose. Selected Amazon links contain an Associates tracking tag. When you choose to follow a retailer link, that retailer may use cookies and other technologies under its own privacy policy. Product-link clicks may be measured in Google Analytics without sending your garage notes or email address. A deployed hosting provider may keep standard access logs.
